Recently, I decided to go a little out of my comfort zone for to create this Vintage Chic inspired tablescape for you. I had been admiring these pretty dish towels at Walmart and thought they would be the perfect starting point for a modern take on vintage style - and they were!
I used them as napkins and paired them with the seafoam green dinnerware set ($36 for the whole set!) and matching iridescent glasses(only $14 for a set of 4!) to bring a fun, vintage vibe to the table.

We've already used the glasses for ice-cream sundaes, too! The shape lends itself perfectly don't you think?
The pastel colors alongside the more vibrant colors of the "napkins" feel so summery and fun, right?
Freshly cut hydrangeas and Rose of Sharon from my garden complement the look perfectly.
I love the detail around the plates and can see this dinnerware set working beautiful for other times of the year too - specifically spring (so perfect for Easter and Mother's Day!).
If you love this Vintage Chic inspired look, you can also easily add some touches to other rooms in your home. Walmart Home has an amazing selection of items at an equally great price point.
I particularly love this idea of "vintage chic" because it lends itself really well to the country cottage or farmhouse style we all love. By simply adding in a few soft touches, you can add new style to your existing decor. Walmart has done a fantastic job of curating products that have a mixture of old and new - so that even though you get the vintage vibe, it's still very much a modern approach to it.
