    Candy Cane Dipped Chocolate Spoons

If you're looking for a cute and inexpensive gift for friends, neighbors and even teachers this holiday season, these Candy Cane Dipped Hot Cocoa Spoons might be a great solution. They look pretty darn amazing and taste delicious to boot! (P.S. There's a pretty sweet giveaway at the end of this post so read 'til the end!)

White and milk chocolate spoon molds

These silicone spoon molds can be picked up at your local Michael's store or here. All you need to do is melt down some chocolate candy melts (I like Ghiradelli) and pipe them into the molds. Give it a quick tap to release the air bubbles and allow to chill for 30 minutes in the fridge.

Chocolate spoons resting on parchment paper on a baking pan

Once they have set, pop them out of the molds and remove any excess around the edges (it will flake off).

Melted chocolate and crushed candy cane pieces in bowls on a counter top

Dip the spoons at an angle into more of the melted chocolate, then dip again into some crushed candy canes.Candy Cane Dipped Hot Chocolate Spoons - A great food gift idea for Christmas!

Candy cane dipped white chocolate spoons...delicious!

Spoons made using chocolate molds and dipped in crushed candy cane

Wrap in cellophane and pop into a festive mug along with some instant hot chocolate and you've got yourself a great gift!

What a cute gift idea! Chocolate spoons dipped in crushed candy canes. Add a packet of hot chocolate and a cute mug and it's an instant holiday gift!

The best part is that every last bit of the spoon is obviously edible, so it melts beautifully into the hot chocolate. Or you can just eat it :-)
