Several weeks ago I shared plans for our front steps and (non existing) walkway.
Well, the mason did a fantastic job and I'm so happy with how it all turned out!
Let's not forget what we started with...steps that were falling apart and absolutely no walkway to the front door!
We still have a lot of work to do to get this front yard looking decent but the masonry was a large (and very expensive) part of the work. Yesterday, Brian put seed down with the lawn had been dug up - not that we had much lawn to begin with - and we still need to find a new lamp post that we like and get that installed.
The plan for next spring is to hopefully tackle the landscaping. A lot of the shrubs need to be ripped out and replaced but there's not much point in starting that in October!
If you're interested in the stone and pavers we used, be sure to check out the original post. And if you're in the Massachusetts or Southern NH areas and need an extremely talented and hardworking mason, let me know and I'll pass along his details!
