Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by to check out my Early Fall Home Tour. Finally, the temperatures here in Boston are beginning to cool down enough for me to add some autumnal touches to my home. It’s still only September mind you, so I’m starting with some little touches and then I’ll be back later in the season with part 2!
I’m so excited to share this Home Tour with you today because it’s the start of the Fall Home Tours Blog Hop, hosted by Meg at Green with Decor. There are 33 more fall home tours this week which means you’ll get tons of incredible inspiration for your home! (the full list of participating blogs is at the very end of the post).
How about we start in the foyer?
Another easy craft, this DIY fall wreath is neutral but has just enough touches of fall colors.
Decorating with bright red apples just screams fall to me and I love the pop of color they bring.
HomeGoods has a bunch of this crates in different sizes and phrases. I kind of wish I had bought more – they’re adorable.
The cute little blue plaid pillows were found in Target’s dollar section and only five bucks! Bargain! I even grabbed matching tea towels.
Excuse the fireplace baby bumper in the following photos. As much as I wanted to remove it, it’s stuck on pretty good. Although the funny thing is, I’m so used to seeing it that I don’t even notice it anymore.
As soon as the evenings turn cooler, the candles come back out. There’s something so magical about the ambience candlelight creates, don’t you think?
The big plaid pillows are amazing. I bought them at Target and they are really plush and comfy. The backs of them are orange velvet and they just add the perfect fall touch to the couch.

Finally, moving along to the dining room. I added some faux leaves and pumpkins and of course switched out the message on the chalkboard.
The moss balls were another previous DIY project while the leaves, pumpkins and acorns are from Michael’s.
This very simple table setting uses my favorite Pottery Barn plates, gold dollar store chargers and a red apple.
I picked up these placemats at HomeGoods last weekend and I love the natural look the bring to the table.
That’s it! I hope you enjoyed my Early Fall Home Tour. If you haven’t already seen the amazing bloggers that showcased their spaces yesterday, please do! Also, don’t forget to see the rest of Tuesday’s home tours and check back Wednesday, Thursday AND Friday as more amazing spaces are unveiled :-)
