Well, hey there! Happy Monday to ya!
Today I’m sharing a simple yet beautiful Festive Fall Centerpiece for you to decorate your table with. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have already seen a sneak peek of this! I love crafts like these because they look amazing when you’re done and, despite looking like a lot of work, are actually really easy to put together.
You will need the following supplies… (all can be purhased from Michaels)
- 2-3 Dusty Miller Stems
- 1 Burlap Leaf stem
- 3 Different Sized White Craft Pumpkins (I got large, medium and small)
- 2 Small Green Pumpkins
- 1 Basket
Arrange the pumpkins in the basket. To get the height I wanted, I placed an upturned shallow vase under the one at the back! #tricksofthetrade ;-)
Cut the greenery into stems using a wire cutter. Arrange the stems around the pumpkins, then fill in the gaps. Bend some of the stems downwards to make them look more realistic, as if they are naturally drooping.
Fill any remaining gaps with the burlap leaves.
Some of the stems have a touch of purple to them. Aren’t they gorgeous? They can all be found in the fall section at Michaels.
There was several baskets similar to this one that would have worked. But I really liked the dark color and large weave in this one.
I chose to stick with a neutral color scheme but you could absolutely mix this up and add some colorful foliage. Those little green pumpkins come in some other pastel shades that would be a beautiful addition, too.
Looking at the centerpiece in our little dining nook (excuse the almost bare walls!):
And just to keep it real….there’s usually a baby chair there, too!
Have I inspired you try this this Festive Fall Centerpiece yourself?
