Hey there, and happy Friday to you!
Today marks the first of a new series where I’m sharing things that caught my eye during the week. I asked on Instagram stories if you guys were interested and I got a resounding YES!! The fun thing about this series is that it’s not just home decor related. You might not know this about me but I’m equally obsessed with clothes and makeup as I am all things home. So this is a great way to share a new side of what I love :-)
Let’s get to it. Here’s what I’ve been loving this past week:
Floral Maxi Dress: With wedding season quickly approaching (In fact – I’ve already been to two this month), I’m in search of an affordable dress that I’ll be able to wear again. This floral maxi dress is really pretty and less than $60.
Leather Tote Bag: I already own this bag in a tan color and love how roomy it is. I bring it with me everywhere and have been dying to get it in another color and I think this soft blush pink will be perfect for spring. Plus, it matches the maxi dress making it the perfect casual summer dress.
Nude Pumps: I bought these shoes a couple of month’s ago for my cousin’s wedding and they were so nice on – and so comfortable – that I went back and got them in black, too! The fit true to size and are don’t feel at all narrow on my slightly wide feet. At under $50 a pair, you can afford to get both colors.
Tank Top: Another great recent find. I picked this up on both gray and white. It’s really soft and hits me right at the hips. I’ll be getting more for sure, especially since they are on sale for $10!
Sunday Riley Luna Night Oil: You guys, when I turned 33, fine lines suddenly started appearing. Maybe it also has something to do with the fact that I run around like crazy after two little kids and probably don’t get as much sleep as I would like. Either way, my skin was looking awful right before Christmas. This night oil was recommended to me and I decided to give it a shot despite the steep price. LADIES!! I have tried every anti-aging product under the sun and never noticed ANY difference in my skin until I tried this. You only need the tiniest bit every night (I’ve had my bottle since November and it’s more than half full, still) and you can layer with a moisturizer if you want (side note: I also use their brightening enzyme water cream and it’s EVERTHING). It works for any age – my mother is in her 60’s and now also obsessed with it. Even though I got mine with a gift card, I will be buying it with my own money once it runs out. They have samples at Sephora if you are interested…there’s enough to last you a couple of weeks in once sample so definitely try it!
