This fall DIY is a simple way to pay homage to the season and can be placed on any mirror in your home.

This is literally the easiest DIY ever. If you can peel stickers off their backing and place them on a mirror, you’re good to go.  Also – I know that not all of you want to go all out for your fall decor. Up until a couple of years ago, the only time I switched up my decor was for Halloween and Christmas. That was it. So if you fall squarely into that camp but like the idea of celebrating fall just a teeny bit, too – then this is a great idea for you to incorporate somewhere in your own home!

Maybe I probably shouldn’t even call this a DIY. But maybe you haven’t thought to do this so that’s why I thought it would be fun and cute to share with you! I chose the word “grateful” since it’s one of those ubiquitous fall words that everyone loves. You can of course pick another word, phrase or even a poem verse. Place it on a mirror or even a picture frame.

I created my own vinyl stickers with my Silhouette (the best machine ever!) but you could purchase premade vinyl decals (like these) or even print onto clear sticker paper.

I think the best part is that it’s not permanent! Once the season is over you can peel it off.

By the way, this font is called Buttercup. It’s one of my favorite script fonts.

I purposely kept my letters small and simple but if you want something bolder, print them up big and stick ’em right smack in the middle of your mirror! I like how this phrase reminds me to be grateful for everything that I have. It’s a quiet reminder in my daily life.

I can’t wait to come up with some other words and phrases for other holidays! I’ll have every mirror in my house stickered up soon enough :-)
