One of the many little (but totally necessary) projects I've been working on around the house is removing old, nasty, yellowed caulk and re-caulking with bright white, clean caulk. Not so glamorous, but it does make quite the difference.

I recently discovered a caulking tool that has been a GAME CHANGER. I've always just smoothed the caulk with my fingers and attempted to tape off the top and bottom edge to get a straight line. Let me tell you, it can be a messy job.
With my new tool, not only did I easily remove all the caulk but I had my entire kitchen perfectly caulked in 10 minutes with NO MESS and PERFECTLY straight lines.
Here are the basic steps that you will need to follow:
The tool has three different adjustable angles depending on how thick you want your caulk like. With gentle pressure, run the tool along the caulk in one direction. Do not change directions at any point. Wipe the excess caulk off your tool every so often.
You'll be left with nice, clean, straight caulk lines.
This is the perfect tool for kitchens, bathtubs, sinks and showers - areas that need to be recaulked every so often to maintain that clean white look.
You can buy this great little tool on Amazon and it's only $6.68! What a great price for saving my sanity :-)
