As part of the Farmhouse Fall Home Tours series, I’m sharing my home all decked out for fall in shades of blue, mauve and green.
Hello, friends…I hope you had a relaxing weekend! Today, I’m so excited to be joining some of my blogging friends to share my Fall Home Tour.
I hope you will stay awhile and hopefully be inspired by some of my fall decorating.
How cute is this chalkboard sign from Kirklands? It’s the perfect size to span across our wall treatment.
I have been so excited to see our new and improved mudroom with you. Brian and I gave it a complete makeover for $100 a couple of weeks ago and I just can’t believe how transformed it looks. I’ll share more details during the week but basically all we did was add a board and batten treatment to walls and a little paint!

This “Thankful” pillow from Farmhouse on Boone is one of my new favorite things. Lisa is super talented and I’m honored that she supplied this pillow to feature as part of this tour. I think it looks pretty darn perfect in its new home!
The bench is another new purchase from World Market. It was a great (affordable!) find and the quality is just as good as one costing three times as much from Pottery Barn. It’s technically a dining bench, but works perfectly out here!
This year I decided to embrace some moodier colors such as mauves, burgundies and purples to complement all the beautiful blues already throughout my home. It’s certainly a different feel than the traditional oranges and rusts that I went with last year.
If you want to pull together your own wreath for this season (or any season!), I’m showing you just how easy this one was to make right here.
Aren’t the mauve flowers stunning? I think paired with muted blues and greens, and the more vibrant burgundy reds, this fall color story is quite remarkable.
Transitioning to the living room, you’ll see the same colors appearing again. About a month ago, I pulled these blue pillows from our bed and moved them to our couch instead. I can’t believe I hadn’t thought to do it sooner – they are so perfect in this room!
This flower arrangement was made using a few faux floral stems from Michael’s. Isn’t it pretty? The blue bowl is one of my favorite wedding gifts and is filled with a mixture of real and fake pumpkins.
A few white pumpkins stacked in a crate adds a seasonal touch to the fireplace alongside some pretty mums.
I picked up a bunch of these faux blueberries at a really cute shop in Cape Cod during the summer and I just love the vibrant pop of blue and green that they give. Originally they were wrapped around candle holders in my dining room but now I have one on the mantel here and another on the hall console table.
Some cute Target dollar spot pumpkins fill in my dough bowl nicely. Another new Target find is this candle and it smells delicious!
Only last week did we finally move the baby’s changing table back up to his nursery. I’ve finally reclaimed this corner of the living room back and decided this new metal rope mirror that Kirkland’s gave me would something a little different to hang over here.
If you’re familiar with my blog, you’ll know that we’re in the middle of refreshing our dining room. Here’s a little sneak peak of our new chairs and a simple fall centerpiece featuring a variety of pumpkin sizes.
Once again, you can see that I’ve pulled in similar colors with the mauves taking a deeper jewel tone in the form of these Amethyst glasses from World Market.
Artichokes, gray napkins and blue plaid plates complete the place settings.
The kitchen is kept pretty simple every season as too much clutter makes it difficult for me to keep clean. For fall, I’ve added a few pumpkins along with some pretty sunflowers on the countertop.
Don’t sunflowers make you feel so happy?!
The kitchen table is simply styled with a tiered tray full of pumpkins. Along with my favorite white ones, I’ve brought my fall palette in here, too by painting some wooden pumpkins mauve and adding in some gray velvet pumpkins alongside my trusty green artichokes.
Simple, but nonetheless, pretty!
I hope I’ve inspired you to try a slightly different color scheme in your home this fall season!
