Welcome to this month's installment of the Thrifty Style Team! This month I'm sharing a quick way to personalize any old (or new!) photo frames you may have and give them some new life.
I have tons of these white IKEA photo frames lying around that I'm not using anymore...and TONS of newborn photos of my baby boy so I thought I would customize one with his name.
This is so simple to do. All you need is the aforementioned picture frames, a Sharpie oil-based marker and a printout of the word or phrase you want to use.
It's as simple as popping the glass out, wiping it down with an alcohol wipe, placing the printout behind it (as a template) and tracing over it with the Sharpie. Easy-peasy!
You could of course use the same method on any other piece of glass that you own - drinking glasses, vases, pitchers, etc. The markers are not considered food shape but the paint can be cured by baking in it in the oven (follow the instructions on the markers).
Now it's time to see what the rest of the Thrifty Style Team are up to!
