    Crockpot Honey BBQ Meatballs

These honey BBQ meatballs are sweet, delicious and super simple to make in the crockpot. They're the perfect appetizer for picky kids, tailgating parties or your next holiday get together.

Make frozen meatballs taste better with this barbeque and grape jelly sauce.

Is there anything better than a good meatball? I love all types of meatballs and I usually make my own from scratch. However, sometimes when you need to feed a large group, taking a short cut is necessary. That's where these honey bbq crockpot meatballs come into play.

Using frozen meatballs, honey and grape jelly you'll have a delicious appetizer that tastes like you spent hours making it from scratch! In fact, all you need to do is dump all the ingredients into a slow cooker and cook for a couple of hours! I love simple recipes with minimal effort - don't you?

I like to serve these in a big bowl with a sprinkling of fresh parsley for color. Guests can then use a toothpick to take what they want. Don't forget a bowl for the used toothpicks, though!

As part of a meal, these taste delicious with a side of rice and steamed broccoli. My kids love to eat them with fries so that they can dip into the excess sauce, or right on top of a bowl of pasta.

This recipe can be halved, doubled or tripled depending on your needs. It's a crowd pleaser every time, so you won't have to worry about there being any leftovers! You can also adjust the sweetness by adding in less honey or grape jelly and if you'd like a smokier flavor, add in one teaspoon of liquid smoke or smoked paprika.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can These Be Made with Homemade Meatballs?

Yes! You'll want to first make the meatballs and bake them in an oven for 20 minutes. Then transfer them to the crockpot or slow cooker and cook with the sauce, on low, for two hours.

Should the Meatballs Be Thawed Before Putting Them in the Crockpot?

No. If you are cooking them on high for an hour or low for at least 2 hours, they do not need to be thawed first.

    Can I use Turkey Meatballs?

Absolutely! Any type of meatball will work!
