My 2019 fall table decor is not only elegant but the simple centerpiece can be pulled together in seconds. The sage green and copper tones are perfect for this autumn season and beyond.
2019 Fall Table Decor
It might look fancy, but I promise you I pulled together this tablescape in exactly 10 minutes! In an effort to keep life simple before the arrival of baby boy #3, less is more has definitely been my motto!
If you’re planning on hosting any sort of Fall Soiree or get together this season, this is both a beautiful and easy way to get an elegant look. Need more inspiration?
The talented Bre from Rooms FOR Rent has gathered an amazing group of bloggers to share their table settings, both indoor and out, for the season. Be sure to check them out at the bottom of this post!
It’s always fun to have an excuse for a get together at this time of the year. Cozying up around the table, sipping spiced drinks and eating pumpkin flavored everything. You might notice a particularly delicious looking cake on this table – it’s a pumpkin pie cake and I’ll be sharing the recipe next week!

I think you’ll agree that there’s nothing “less” about how this tablescape turned out though, right? There’s something about copper in the fall that I love. The warmth of the color reflects the colors that will soon be appearing on trees all around New England and there’s just something so warm and comforting about it.
While last year I paired copper with navy blue, this year I’m taking this pretty fresh eucalyptus as my starting point and incorporating shades of sage green. This soft shade of green works in harmony with the copper to create the prettiest color palette.
I added in some natural wood tones in the form of my wooden handled flatware, bread bowl and wood slice stand. I also added some fabric pumpkins that I purchased at Target last year (and that are coincidentally the perfect shade of green!) as well as a couple of new ones from Pier 1.
Hammered copper is my favorite and I’ve used it in both the Moscow mule mugs and the chargers. There’s something about the hammered effect that adds a depth to the copper that I just love!
The eucalyptus on the table is mirrored by the eucalyptus on my new salad plates, too. I think I’m actually going to go back to the store and also buy the dinner plate version because I love this simple print.
By the way, my local Trader Joe’s is my go-to source for eucalyptus. It’s reasonably priced and only a few bunches make a huge statement as a centerpiece. I like to purchase a few bunches of both the seeded and silver dollar variety. It dries out beautifully, too, so one purchase usually lasts me the best part of a month. The copper canisters are an Amazon find and I move them around my home all year long. They are one of my favorite purchases ever!
I hope this fall table decor gets your creative juice flowing as you decorate for the season! It sure has me excited to decorate the rest of my home :-)
