My Favorite Paint Colors

Painting your home's interior or exterior can seen daunting and overwhelming, right? There's SO many beautiful paint colors - but what will work in your home?

Gray paint colors remain as popular as ever, with white trim also remaining a constant in many homes. While the cooler grays of the past have been replaced with warmer shades such as SW Repose Gray, other colors such as blue-grays and greens are becoming more and more popular as accent colors or on cabinetry. Contrast trim (where trim is darker than baseboards) is also an up and coming trend.

Popular living room paint colors are still those that are neutral, with greiges being a firm favorite this year. Blue-grays are still a favorite for bedrooms and bathrooms, unless they are darker rooms that need to be lightened (and warmed) up.

Whatever color you ultimately decide on for your walls, cabinetry, house exterior or even just your font door - make sure you get the best finish possible by doing the prep work.
